Hublot fires up King Power with cigar brand

Hublot has unveiled a smoking new collaboration with Cuban cigar manufacturer Arturo Fuente, creating a limited edition timepiece presented in an ebony and carbon cigar case.

The new King Power Arturo Fuente limited series is presented in the cigar case developed specially by Hublot, blending Macassar ebony and carbon. Arturo Fuente has created special editions of its rare OPUS X cigars for Hublot, to fit inside the case.

The Arturo Fuente company celebrated its 100th anniversary this year and has teamed up with Hublot as both companies believe they share many similarities.

Both have about 300 employees working at their manufactories, with the workers organised into different workshops. Hublot and Arturo Fuente boutiques are also neighbours in Las Vegas.

The new King Power timepiece is limited to just 100 pieces in gold, numbered from 0 to 100, with a ceramic version limited to 200 pieces.

They will have the Arturo Fuente illustration transfer celebrating the 100th anniversary on the timepiece, while the straps have also been designed with alligator leather and stitching reminiscent of Cuban styling.
