Hublot is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Ferrari 250 GTO, by creating an exclusive complication timepiece.
The watch can be customised with the chassis number engraved on the movement, only eligible for purchase by owners of a 250 GTO.
This watch was unveiled on July 3 at a special event at the Abbaye de Hautvillers, attended by the car’s 24 owners from around the world and their 250 GTOs.
The limited edition watch has many features such as the 45mm titanium case which has been rounded out to mimic the curves of the 250 GTO.
The tourbillon movement, has been manufactured by Hublot, with the barrel drum located at 12 o’clock, featuring a design which evokes the shape of the 250 GTO’s wheel rim.
The strap is made from barenia calfskin in reference to the upholstery used in cars of this era. The watches will also be delivered in a Ferrari presentation case made especially for this limited run.
