Roanne and Jason have been going above and beyond to make sure the Harrods fine watches experience continues to exceed clients’ expectations.
This has included securing exclusive and limited-edition pieces, organising private previews and launching the first ever storewide Fine Watch takeover in Harrods’ long history – a six-week long ‘Made with Love & Precision’ campaign.
“This is a particularly proud moment for us,” Jason comments on the campaign. “To mark the occasion we have worked incredibly closely with our watch brands to secure 23 exceptional and exclusive timepieces – all of which will be showcased along our Brompton Road windows and launched in the Fine Watch Room.”
Talking about business lessons learnt this year, Roanne adds: “Anything is possible with the right approach and a little bit of persistence. Tenacity is key in this industry and this is no more evident than in the exclusive timepieces that we have managed to secure to mark Made with Love & Precision, with a number of the brands even creating bespoke pieces exclusively for Harrods.”
For Roanne, this year has been practically important as she has also returned to work after maternity leave. She says: “Juggling the work/life balance isn’t easy but I am incredibly proud of my achievements both at Harrods – where I have been working hard to bring our July watch moment to fruition – and at home – where I am bringing up my beautiful little girl.”
The duo want to continue to grow and develop the Fine Watch department at Harrods in the future and further establish the space as the “ultimate destination” for service excellence, a luxury environment and strong product selection.
