Holding out for a hereO

Although relatively new to the market, GPS tracking watch brand, hereO, thinks that it has found a niche that will make it fly off shelves.

Founded in 2011, the brand claims to offer the first complete end-to-end family location service. The watches are targeted specifically at children, and the idea is that kids will enjoy wearing a colourfully designed watch that will also give parents the peace of mind of letting them know where their offspring are.

The location function works via the hereO app, which is available on both Android and Apple devices. Not only does the app allow parents to know the current locations of their child(ren), but it also tells them the location history, as well as providing directions to a family member if a panic alert is set off.

The watch market has seen the arrival and rise of a lot of watches with GPS technology in recently, but hereO is hoping that its family-friendly appeal will create a gap between itself and other brands.
