Harry Winston is set to open its second retail outlet for its watches and jewellery in London with a new space in Harrods – the brand’s 25th retail location.
The new space will feature a special watch area and has been launched as part of the company’s global retail expansion. It will be housed within the Knightsbridge store’s fine jewellery room, which was recently revamped.
The space was developed with help from William Sofield of Studio Sofield, a New York-based award-winning design firm, with a modern take on Harry Winston’s traditional style, with a soft taupe and grey colour palette.
Frédéric de Narp, president and chief executive of Harry Winston Inc. said: “Harry Winston salons are located in the finest shopping destinations across the globe. As one of the great international cities, London is a key and critical part of our retail growth.
“With the opening of our newest location at Harrods, the luxury window to the world, we are thrilled to not only showcase our creations in such an exceptional setting but to be able to continue to provide our clients with the finest selection of our products, and the high quality of service that Harry Winston is known for.”
The Harrods space will have seated sales desks and private viewing rooms to ensure a discreet, personalized and truly luxurious shopping experience. The brand will also offer appointment and bespoke services will also be available.
Annalise Quest, general merchandis manager for fine jewellery at Harrods commented: "We are delighted to welcome internationally renowned jeweller Harry Winston to the Fine Jewellery Room and launch only their second salon in London.
“Harry Winston’s breathtaking designs and exquisite use of extraordinary stones will be of particular appeal to Harrods discerning clientele. The striking design of the salon will complement our existing fine jewellery boutiques beautifully, further cementing Harrods reputation as the ultimate destination for fine jewellery and haute horology."
