Glycine has reinvented the pilot chronograph with its new Airman Airfighter to mark the company’s 100th year of watchmaking.
The Airfighter provides the functions of a genuine pilot’s watch along with three individual time zones. The second time zone is registered along a 24 hour track chapter ring by a GMT hand with white triangular tip adjusted by the central crown.
The 46mm Airfighter’s 24 hour rotating bezel registers the third time zone after being unlocked by the lower crown. Chronograph functions are activated with a sliding actuator on the left side of the watch easily adjusted with the wearer’s right-hand thumb.
The automatic calibre GL754 features a skeletonised aircraft on the rotor, revealed by anti-reflective sapphire crystal sealing the chronograph on both sides.
Three versions are available with blue, red or carbon-black dials each with matching leather straps.
