Glashütte Original has used the new Calibre 36 that it launched earlier this year in two additions to its current Senator Excellence collection.
The new models, the Senator Excellence Panorama Date and the Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase both go on sale this month at Harrods in London.
Glashütte says that the Calibre 36 is central to the precision, running time, stability and aesthetics of the new models.
The Senator Excellence Panorama Date has a clean face that draws attention to the date display that is created by two concentric display discs on the same level, which makes it possible to present the two numerals comprising the date without a central separation bar.
A jumping mechanism on the Calibre 36 means that the date changes on the stroke of midnight.
The Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase uses the same date display, but also has a moon phase complication.
Both models are presented in a 40 mm diameter case in red gold or stainless steel.
