Glashütte Original has added to its Pano collection with a limited edition model featuring an elaborately crafted dial in a rose opaline hue.
The models comes just a few months after the brand presented a new version of its successful PanoMaticLunar with a dark blue dial and red gold case.
The new PanoMaticLunar uses two distinct colours, with the blue accents of the hands blending easily into the soft hue of the dial.
The characteristic Panorama Date, too, with its white numerals on blue discs, takes up the rich blue hue and stands in contrast to the rose opaline dial.
This special colour is the result of a special galvanization procedure performed in-house dial manufactory in Pforzheim, Germany.
The process involved placing the dial for a precisely specified length of time in a galvanic bath under a constant electrical charge in order to achieve the desired soft hue.
The watch’s dial, with its characteristic off-centre displays, is framed by a polished and satin-brushed stainless steel case.
The auxiliary dials for hours and minutes and the small seconds dial are aligned along a vertical axis within the left half of the dial, while the Panorama Date is positioned to the right
The heart of the PanoMaticLunar is the Calibre 90-02 automatic movement.
The sapphire glass case back offers a clear view of the mechanism with its traditional elements of Glashütte watchmaking art.
The new timepiece is fitted with a matching dark blue Louisiana alligator leather strap with pin buckle or fold fastener, and is available worldwide.
The watch is limited to 50 pieces.
