G-Shock grapples with Gorillaz collaboration

Britpop band Gorillaz has put its name and creative input into a limited edition G-Shock collection.

The family of watches has models, most using the DW5600 as their base, are designed to represent different members of the famously eclectic band.

The DW5600  watch has been re-imagined for 2D, Murdoc Niccals and Noodle in three different colorways, each showcasing their personalities through additional character-specific detailing and individual packaging.

Gorillaz drummer Russel Hobbs’ watch design is offered in the more robust and solar powered GX56.

The collaboration comes in G-Shock’s 35th anniversary year and has been launched with an typically creative video featuring the band in outer space discovering the watches.
