G-Shock boxes clever with Everlast collaboration


Casio G-Shock has made a watch in collaboration with Everlast, a brand synonymous with boxing for over 100 years.

The new GBA800EL-4A is made in matte red reminiscent of boxing gloves, with the world-famous Everlast logo engraved on the case back, dial and strap.

It is made with the modern fitness enthusiast in mind, equipped with a three-axis acceleration sensor to keep track of step count as well as walking/running pace.


The digital display also shows the step count and hourly step graph, while the status indicator displays the target achievement rate.

All data is shared with a the G-Shock Connected app that compiles it into to graphs and timelines for measurements such as calories burned broken down by five metabolic equivalent (MET) levels for each day, week and month.

The app can also display the exact location on a map where the wearer’s steps were taken for tracking outdoor exercise.

The GBA800EL-4A also comes equipped with standard G-Shock technology including:

  • 200M water resistance and shock resistance

  • Auto Super Illuminator LED light
  • Step Counter
  • Stopwatch and countdown timer
  • 5 daily alarms
  • 12/24 Hr. Time Formats

It will go on sale for $160 in July.
