Frederique Constant’s Slimline Moonphase Stars goes on sale

The 26th in house movement designed, manufactured and assembled by Frederique Constant, is being used in the ladies’ Slimline Moonphase Manufacture Stars, which goes on sale this month.

The Swiss watchmaker, now owned by Citizen Watch Group, invited journalists to a hilltop observatory above the French coastal town of Nice yesterday to officially unveil the mechanical timepiece.

The watch is designed by Aletta Stas, wife of Peter Stas, who co-founded Frederique Constant, who called it “an elegant fusion of femininity and artisanship”.
