Frederique Constant smartwatch now at Selfridges

Frederique Constant’s hybrid concept Horological Smartwatch goes on sale today in Selfridges.

The prestigious Oxford Street department store has a one-month UK exclusive on the Horological Smartwatch collection.

The MotionX technology platform behind the watch, which allows for activity tracking and sleep monitoring, was jointly developed by Frederique Constant Group and Silicon Valley tech firm Fullpower Technologies, Inc under the banner Manufacture Modules Technologies Sàrl (MMT).

Watches using the MotionX platform have been announced by Frederique Constant, Alpina and Mondaine but Frederique Constant’s implementation of the technology is the first to make it to market.

Four steel versions and a rose gold version of the 42mm Horological Smartwatch are available priced from £870 and £950 respectively.
