Frederique Constant returns to Classics

Frederique Constant may not have the history of a Breguet or the archive of a Breitling, but the brand does have references dating back to its creation in 1988, and is reviving some of them this year under the banner of Classics.

First to drop this year will be the Classics Index Automatic and Classics Quartz collections.

There are five new automatics with matte blue, white or black dials.

The 40mm family has four models in plain steel and a fifth with rose gold plating.

All of them use the automatic FC-303 calibre with 38 hour power reserve.

There are leather straps in blue, black or brown and a steel bracelet for the model with a blue dial.

Classics Quartz two-handers with date watches come in the same 40mm steel cases, but with silvered dials in black or blue.

They are also offered on a choice of leather strap or steel bracelet.
