Fiorelli chooses Inter City Group for watch debut


British watch manufacturer and distributor Inter City Group has signed a licensing agreement to produce branded watches for handbag label Fiorelli.

Birmingham-based Inter City Group will ‘design, develop and distribute’ Fiorelli’s first collection of timepieces, launching in the UK next year before expanding into Fiorelli’s global territories, currently 26 countries worldwide.

Mark Winter, Inter City Group chief executive officer, said: “We are delighted to have been selected as the watch partner for Fiorelli to launch their debut timepiece collection as the perfect complement to their existing bag and accessories range. We look forward to a long and successful relationship to continue to build the brand’s popularity both in the UK and internationally.”


Fiorelli, a brand launched in the UK in 1988, is the latest to work with Inter City Group, whose brand portfolio includes Kate Spade, Superdry, Karen Millen and Police.

Sue Tebbitts, brand manager for Fiorelli, added: “Timepieces are the natural progression for the brand following our success in the market with bags and accessories and we are confident Inter City Group is the right partner for creating our watches category to instantly appeal to our existing and new customer bases”.
