Festina has become the official timing partner of track cycling tour, the Revolution series.
The sporty watch brand with links across European cycling’s biggest events is partnering with the series for the final two rounds of the 2014/15 season, including the Tour de France, the Giro d’Italia and the Tour of Spain.
Daniel Ozel, Festina’s UK marketing manager, said: “Festina watches are delighted to be involved with Revolution and The Jupiter London Nocturne. Festina is synonymous with cycling and the cycling watch of choice. We are looking forward to supporting them in both London and Manchester. Festina is the official timekeeper for all of the Grand Tours as well as The Tour of Britain, Women’s Tour and Tour Series here in the UK.”
James Pope, chief executive officer of FACE Partnership, owners of the series, said: “With Sarah Storey’s UCI Hour Record fast-approaching on 28th February, it is particularly significant to have Festina watches involved in the series at this stage when there is a strong emphasis on timing. We are excited to be continuing working with Festina on our next event, the Jupiter London Nocturne on 6th June, and also to have the potential to carry the Revolution partnership on to next season.”
