Festina Group has signed a distribution agreement with Embix Watch Importing for exports to Canada.

The Montreal-based firm is now exclusively responsible for the commercialization and distribution of the Festina brand of products on Canadian soil.

Hugo Lesizza, sales manager at Festina, commented: “We are excited at the chance of working with the Embix team, whose reputation as successful distributors for prestigious brands is recognised across North America.”

He added: “In terms of sales, we have never worked with such a professional as John Met, Embix’s sales manager, we are delighted to hand him the challenge if developing our presence in the Canadian market.”

Embix has experience in the high end luxury watch market and, according to its website, already works with Bering, Anne Klein, STORM London, Maserati, Disney by Ingersoll, Continental Geneve and Del Mar.

With the move, Festina will be hoping to improve its existing worldwide presence and build on its status as one of the few Spanish companies to feature in Deloitte’s Top 100 largest luxury companies in the world.
