Festina fires up new range of chronographs inspired by the world of cycling

Festina is gearing up for the summer cycling season with a new range of chronographs that bring fresh swagger to its Chrono Bike collection.

The brand has been linked to the sport for more than 25 years, taking its inspiration from the world of competitive cycling when designing watches.

Its latest offering stands out for the colourful design and vibrant tones of the pushers, the hands, the indices and the strap.

The shape of brake disc can be seen in the sub-dials, while the gears of a bike have inspired where the hands are located and the design of the pusher is inspired by the brake plate found on a racing bike.

The collection has three different looks and is available with a stainless steel bracelet (6 different models) or on a silicon strap (8 models). All the new chronographs have a 43mm 316L stainless steel case and are equipped with a hardened mineral glass.

The most exclusive design of the collection shares the technical characteristics of the Chrono Bike line but has an even more distinguished design thanks to the black and rose gold IP treatment on the stainless steel case and bracelet.

In addition, the bespoke packaging of the chronograph includes additional leather strap and the tool that facilitates the exchange of straps for customisation.

Festina Group manufactures five brands of watches for the general market (Calypso, Lotus, Festina, Jaguar and Candino) and two jewellery brands (Lotus Style and Lotus Silver).

The group’s head office is located in Barcelona while its major production centres are in Switzerland and Spain. It sells around five million watches a year.
