EXCLUSIVE: Watch Warehouse rescued and relaunched by Mortimer Management Group


Watch Warehouse, which went into administration earlier this year, has been revived by Mortimer Management Group, owner of online outlet store Chapelle Jewellery.

Watch Warehouse was relaunched in November carrying a range of fashion and lifestyle brands including Accurist, Casio, Rotary, Citizen and Sekonda.

A spokesperson for Mortimer Management Group told WatchPro that the team has taken on the name of Watch Warehouse and is working to re-establish the brand and the website to “continue providing customers with a fantastic range of watches”.


“As you can imagine this is a mammoth task, but we have just re-launched the site and are open for business. We will be running a deal this weekend, partly for Black Friday and partly as a welcome back promotion,” the spokesperson added.

The Watch Warehouse sale will run from Friday to Monday (known as Cyber Monday), with 20% discounts offered to people that use a discount code sent to people on the company’s database, according to Tony Richards, the new managing director for Mortimer Management Group.

Chapelle Jewellery is described as the UK’s largest specialist designer outlet jewellery business; offering watches and jewellery from a wide range of brands, all with at least 30% off RRP.

Chapelle describes Black Friday as a “necessary evil”, and will be offering a buy one, get one half price on all of its watches, which are already discounted. That will mean savings of up to 60% off RRPs, the company says.
