Chat show host Ellen DeGeneres has become the latest celebrity to show off her vintage watch haul on social media, after bagging a 1960’s gold Rolex Daytona for around $750k.

The watch-collecting comedian posed with Amsterdam dealer, Jasper Lijfering for a picture on his Instagram of her sitting in her Beverly Hills home with the iconic watch in hand.

DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi first visited Lijfering’s store, Amsterdam Vintage Watches, two months ago, and snapped up two stainless steel ‘Big Red’ Daytonas, a 1950’s Pepsi GMT and a Patek Philippe Nautilus from the late 1970s.

Lijfering also made two trips to LA in September, where he went on to sell DeGeneres a gold 1978 Submariner and another newer stainless-steel Daytona.
