Edox accompanies rescue dog campaigner during marathon run to the North Pole

Edox brand ambassador Marcus Fillinger has recorded a world first with his expedition dogs Blue and Duro by completing the entire FWD North Pole Marathon running with the dogs.

Mr Fillinger is an Australian director of animal rescue organisation Alphadog.

The FWD North Pole Marathon is promoted as the world’s coolest marathon, challenging runners to overcome the extreme sub-zero temperatures to finish 26.2 miles in one of the remotest parts of the planet.

Edox sponsored Mr Fillinger, and also equipped him with its new Edox N-Pole 42.195 Limited Edition timekeeper, a chronograph designed to survive the extreme conditions of the North Pole.

The watch houses the Edox Calibre 102 in a 45mm steel case with helium valve, screw-in crown and ceramic bezel. The caseback of a 300 piece limited edition is engraved with the North Pole Marathon map.
