E. Gluck expects travel retail to take off for its Torgoen watch brand

E. Gluck Corporation is using next month’s TRMarketplace digital meeting and conference to launch Torgoen watches into duty free and travel retail.

It is an expansion into wholesale for Torgoen, whose aviation-style watches have only been sold direct to consumers online until now.

Automatics and quartz watches are priced from around $250.

“Luxury and quality are key factors in driving the travel retail industry and Torgoen’s DNA fuses premium watches with luxury style at an accessible price point,” says Rob Robertaccio,vVice president global travel retail sales at E. Gluck Corporation.

“Already a category leader in the direct-to-consumer space, we are excited to expand Torgoen’s distribution into the travel retail and duty free world, globally. We feel it is a natural integration based on our consumer demographic,” he adds.
