Inter City Group is celebrating a hugely successful debut year as a stand-alone exhibitor at Baselworld, with a day still to go of the fair.
The Birmingham-based company has been showcasing some of its more established licensed brands like Ben Sherman and Karen Millen, as well as newer ones.
The brand that has got the most attention for Inter City Group has been its own in-house women’s fashion brand, Daisy Dixon.
“This has been a truly exceptional show for Inter City Group and the results have exceeded our highest expectations,” said commercial director Mohamed Master, talking exclusively to WatchPro. “Together with the phenomenal reception for our newest creation, Daisy Dixon, we have also had unbelievable responses to our showcased brands from both existing and new distribution and retail partners from over 60 countries.”
To further highlight the success of the exhibition for Inter City Group, Master was quick to point out just how well the company’s new global partnership with Cath Kidston had been.
“We had the privilege of unveiling our global partnership with Cath Kidston and presenting a taster of our AW16 collection to our global partners,” Master explained. “The response to Cath Kidston has absolutely astounded us and we look forward to unprecedented success with the brand across our many territories in the coming months.”
“Baselworld has been a brilliant show for us and one that has really seen us stand out as a company from our peers and competitors with an eclectic set of brands all with exquisite design at the heart of every collection that intrinsically tells the story of each brand in their representative watch collection.”
