Citizen has opened the doors of its new global flagship store on New York’s Times Square with singer and brand ambassador Kelly Clarkson cutting the ribbon.
Located at 1500 Broadway, the store is the first Citizen Watch global retail concept store in North America and is situated in an area that sees 39 million pedestrians visit each year. Citizen plans to maximise this footfall using eye-catching displays, interactive technology and innovative designs.
The 1,300 sq ft store will feature a full range of Citizen watches as well as showcasing exclusive models from across the world including limited editions and Japanese models.
The store will feature state-of-the-art interactive and hands-on displays and exclusive offerings including a wall displaying prominent bloggers’ interpretations of Citizen products. Visitors can also sign in on the Citizens of the World guestbook and create their own digital Passport to share with friends. The flagship will also engage consumers through regularly updated displays with contests and engaging content.
