Citizen UK has launched its first official Facebook page today, part of its strategic marketing plans for Q4.
The page is expected to be information-rich, giving give details about Citizen timepieces, events and news and will also be a hub from which the brand can run consumer-focused competitions.
A release from Citizen said: “As the UK’s No 1 watch brand, we wanted to create a specific UK based page to share updates, competitions, photos, news and much more with our loyal customers, retailers and partners.
“We want to create an environment which is both fun and informative for people who are interested in all aspects of Citizen; us, our watches and our brand ambassadors.”
The brand added that it strives for its marketing campaigns to be impactful and bold by showcasing its watches "in a great light”.
Citizen is celebrating the launch with a competition that it will run until the end of October. It also runs a Twitter page and is expecting to launch its Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube pages shortly.
