Chopard swoops into Dubai Watch Week to present its Alpine Eagle

The timing of Dubai Watch Week from November 20 to 24 could not be better for Chopard to introduce its Alpine Eagle luxury sports timekeeper to customers visiting the UAE for the show.

The event, hosted by Chopard’s local partner Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, is taking place at the Dubai International Financial Center, will give Chopard its own private 485 square metre exhibition area dedicated to the Alpine Eagle, which launched on October 1.

The watch comes with a fascinating back story. It is a modern interpretation of Chopard’s first steel sports watch, the St. Moritz, which was designed in 1980 by a young Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, who is now co-president of Chopard.

Today’s Alpine Eagle is also a personal project of Mr Scheufele, and is driven by his passion for the Alps and the eagles he sees flying there. The signature piece has crisp steel case contrasting with a deep blue dial like snow-topped mountains against a dazzling clear sky.
