Casio will place G-Shock centre stage at an upgraded stand at BaselWorld this year as the brand celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The Japanese watch company is exhibiting in Hall 1 this year which has allowed it to build a two-storey booth that will give it 768m² of floorspace, up from 528m² last year.
Casio brand G-Shock is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and to celebrate the 7m-high booth has been decorated with an oversized motif of a G-Shock DW-6900, the brand’s bestselling model. Inside the booth there will be a cross-sectional model showing the inner structure of a G-Shock GW-A1000.
The stand will also play host to a display from Infinity Red Bull Racing, the Formula 1 team that Casio sponsors.
Casio has a host of new launches lined up for BaselWorld across its G-Shock, Protrek, Edifice, Baby-G and Sheen brands. Some of the new watches will include sensor technology paired with its drive system that uses multiple motors to move the watch hands independently.
