The American market is about to feel the energy of Europe’s biggest luxury watch retailer, Bucherer, now it has bought Tourneau.
The profile of Bucherer-owned watch brand, Carl F. Bucherer, is certain to be raised as part of the group’s wider plans.
With Baselworld around the corner, Carl F. Bucherer is introducing a larger 43mm model in its Manero Peripheral collection.
The watch the in-house CFB A2050 caliber, which has a distinctive weighted ring rotor that tightens the mainspring as it circles the periphery of the movement; replacing the usual fan-shaped oscillating weight.
The Manero Peripheral family launched in 2016 as a 40.6mm model, and its larger iteration this year retains the elegance of its classical design. “The new model is designed to appeal to men who want to invest in quality while conveying poise and elegance,” Carl F. Bucherer says.
The new Manero Peripheral in rose gold comes with a light brown alligator-leather strap or steel bracelet with black or silver dials.
