Carl F. Bucherer has adopted this year’s Pantone Color of the Year, classic blue, for a pair of Manero Flyback Chronographs.

The relaxed, denim-like color has also been seen this year on new models like the Calatrava 6007A from Patek Philippe and Tudor’s Black Bay Fifty Eight.

Carl F. Bucherer says the blue is the color of the horizon; a metaphor for being open-minded and exuding the confidence and style to succeed, wherever you are, the company says.

The 43mm steel watch, which comes with a steel bracelet or blue textile strap, houses the CFB 1970 automatic movement with 42 hour power reserve that can be seen thought a crystal case back.

It goes on sale this month for $6,600 on a steel bracelet and $6,200 on the strap.
