Brits bring home the gold at Luminox Viking challenge

British competitors were victorious at Luminox’s Special Operations Challenge Tough Viking, the largest obstacle race in Scandinavia.

The event, which took place in Stockholm, invited a selection of participants from around the world to take part in a 15km race.

The UK team won fastest male, fastest female and fastest team at the event, which took place on August 26.

As part of the launch, Luminox, as official timekeeper of the Tough Viking Series, has been offering a Tough Viking Special Edition. The series features a black 45mm Carbon Compound case and olive dark green dial featuring the Tough Viking logo,a tribute to the Viking’s faith, using’s Thor’s winged helmet for inspiration.

The case and the unidirectional ratcheting bezel are all made of carbon compound, which results in an light and durable timepiece. The crystal is scratch-resistant, tempered mineral glass, and the double gasket stainless steel crown enables water resistance to 20ATM.

The turtle-shape Luminox case design features a protected crown balanced by an opposite outcropping that depicts a 200M stamp at the nine marker. The bright orange seconds hand efficiently contrasts with the green dial colour for enhanced visibility.

The Tough Viking Special Edition also features the newly designed Luminox signature strap and is provided with an additional green webbing strap as well as with a strap changing tool.
