Bremont’s authorized dealers in the United States have a new competitor in the form of the brand itself selling direct to consumers online.
The British watchmaker announced the news today in an e-mail to its customer database.
“We are delighted to announce that we have expanded our online boutique so that Bremont timepieces can now be purchased directly through our site,” the company says.
“In celebration of this, for a limited time only and exclusively for our US customers, we are offering the gift of an additional strap with every purchase of a Bremont timepiece from the online store. We will carefully select a strap to compliment your chosen timepiece from our array of calf-leather, NATO and rubber straps and will ship it along with your purchase,” Bremont offers.
Selling direct to consumers is not new for Bremont. The company has three stores in its home city of London as well as a boutique in New York and one more in Hong Kong.
The media-rich ecommerce site houses an in-depth history of Bremont, introductions to its brand ambassadors, news and event updates, a customer discussion forum and details of all watch collections. Customers can immediately add to bag when they select a watch, or they can chat online to a concierge or be directed to their nearest authorized dealers. They can even specify whether they want a short, medium or long strap.
