Brellum creates chronometer-rated chronograph for under $3,000

Swiss watchmaker Brellum has returned to using a modified COSC-certified Valjoux 7750 movement in a new family of cockpit instrument-inspired chronographs.

The Brellum Pilot Power Gauge LE.1 Chronometer is a black-dialed chronograph with three subdials and a power reserve indicator arranged on a highly legible face.

Its 41.8mm steel case and matching integrated bracelet is offered with or without a black DLC coating.

Domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment gives the clearest possible window into the dial, while a crystal caseback exposes the movement with its oscillating weight inscribed with a unique number for each of the 33-piece limited edition run.

The movement is also decorated with perlage, Geneva strips and blue screws.

Brellum’s Pilot Power Gauge LE.1 Chronometer is on sale now for CHF 2,990 (around $3,000), excluding taxes at www.brellum.swiss
