Breitling trims 4mm from Avenger Blackbird chrono

Breitling has added a 44mm case edition to the 2015 collection of its Avenger Blackbird.

The Swiss watchmaker first launched the black-on-black timepiece in the summer of last year with a 48mm case, but is following a wider industry trend towards smaller watches with this year’s version.

The titanium case is coated with black carbon, giving it the ‘stealth’ appearance of the legendary Blackbird bomber.
