Breitling will close its flagship showroom on 57th and Madison in the heart of midtown Manhattan for a major refurbishment beginning in August.
The boutique is expected to reopen in October in the urban loft style that Breitling has been rolling out across the world.
In the meantime, there will be a temporary Breitling store just a few doors down from the flagship on Madison.
That temporary space will have a special focus on the new Superocean Heritage ’57 Pastel Paradise Capsule Collection; an appropriate aesthetic for the summer season that highlights the Breitling surf culture.
Breitling’s New York flagship will be completely refitted to adopt the distinctive industrial loft design elements that are already a defining part of Breitling’s top boutiques around the world and in Orlando, Miami, Las Vegas, Tampa, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Houston, San Diego, Beverly Hills, Scottsdale, Nashville and San Jose.
“We are really looking forward to re-opening our flagship boutique in the heart of New York at 575 Madison on the corner of 57th,” says Breitling USA president Thierry Prissert.
“The new inviting aesthetic and design will be the ultimate destination for any Manhattan-based watch aficionado or those visiting from around the world. We are looking forward to the new boutique becoming a relaxing and inclusive environment to welcome our local clients, as well as new customers that enjoy watches for men and women of style, purpose and action,” he adds.
