Breitling has made 36mm and 32mm versions of its popular Chronomat, a collection the watchmaker says is designed for women of purpose, action, and style, epitomized by its squad of artists Charlize Theron, Misty Copeland, and Yao Chen.
“Our inspiration for this new collection is the Breitling woman herself, as represented in our #SQUADONAMISSION campaign: a woman of purpose, action, and style who’s at the top of her game,” says Breitling CEO Georges Kern.
“Who better than Charlize Theron, Misty Copeland, and Yao Chen to turn the spotlight on major global causes as they redefine what it means to be a strong woman? Three leading stars known for being fierce and pushing boundaries. What binds them together is the Spotlight Squad and Breitling’s dedication to change, diversity, and reshaping the world we live in.”
Breitling has thrown its weight behind a full collection of ladies’ Chronomats.
Not only are there two dial sizes, there are also 17 SKUs ranging in price from $3,200 for a 32mm steel on steel model with blue or white dial. Diamond indexes up the price to $4,325. Adding gold to a bezel and two tone bracelet takes the 32mm model to $6,700. The top of the line 32mm version is all gold and white gold, priced at $20,500.
32mm models use a quartz Breitling Caliber 77 movement.
At 36mm, prices start at $4,860 for steel on steel and move up to $25,650 for the gold and white gold piece. These larger watches house COSC-certified Breitling Caliber 10 mechanical automatic movements.
