Breitling is continuing to grow its aviation affiliations by stepping up as the main sponsor of the Reno Air Races, while also offering the public a free game that allows them to experience aeronautical thrills on their mobile digital devices.
Breitling is the main sponsor of aeronautical event the Reno Air Races. Created in 1964, the Reno Air Races this year celebrates 50 years. Every September hundreds of thousands of spectators converge on the Nevada desert to admire the famous pylon races where planes are flown just a few feet off the ground at speeds of more than 500 mph. Breitling is supporting the precision and daring that is inherent in the event.
The watch brand is also offering the general public a free game for mobile platforms, providing them with the chance to experience the sensations of high-speed racing on a smartphone or tablet.
The Breitling online air racing game is available for free download on iOS (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) and Android.
Participants can take the controls of the customisable plane of their choice and experience the thrills of the Reno Air Races. Featuring full 3D graphics, the Breitling Reno Air Races game provides a lifelike reconstitution of the formidable pylon races.
The 50th edition of the Reno Air Races, takes place this year from September 11 to 15.
