Braun chronograph bags a second prestigious design award

Braun’s BN0265 chronograph has followed up winning a prestigious iF Design Award in 2019 by bagging a Red Dot Design Award for 2020.

For such a clean-looking chrono, the watch packs a surprising number of notable design elements including the way its leather strap seamlessly tucks into its 40mm matte stainless steel case; its concave dial punctuated with recessed sub dials; and the contrast between the yellow central chronograph hand and red chevron above the date aperture.

The watch’s small seconds hand and chronograph pusher are also picked out in yellow.

Under the hood, the 40mm BN0265 uses a quartz movement for the main functions of the watch and a mechanical module for operating the chronograph.
