London restaurant Boisdale has launched a watch club in association with jewellery and watch insurance specialist Assetsure.
The first Boisdale Watch Club will be held at Boisdale’s sprawling Canary Wharf restaurant on December 7th and involve British watch brand Bremont.
Bremont co-founder Giles English is scheduled to appear at the event, offering an insight into the world of watches and setting up his own brand with his brother Nick.
The event is set to be the first in a series of planned monthly meetings that will rotate between each of Boisdale’s three London restaurants, bringing together enthusiasts who will hear from luxury watch brands, watch journalists, watchmakers and collectors.
Boisdale will welcome guests with a Champagne and canapé reception at 6.30pm. Experts from Prestige Valuations will be present to offer estimates on watches old and new, with a prize draw for dinner for two and a box of Cuban cigars courtesy of insurance partner Assetsure. The event is free and WatchPro readers can email Boisdale if they wish to attend.
