The technical watchmaking industry gradually walked out of Baselworld as prices escalated following the 2013 redevelopment of the exhibition hall complex, and were entirely absent by 2018.

This year they are back with a dedicated space in Hall 2.0, giving visitors an overview of technology for the manufacture and servicing of watches, jewelry and components.

“The technical sector is back at Baselworld,” says Michel Loris-Melikoff, managing director of the show.
