Audemars Piguet produces Royal Oak Offshores in blue exclusively for Bucherer

Audemars Piguet Bucherer Blue Royal Oak Offshore

Two of Switzerland’s great family firms, Audemars Piguet and Bucherer, have come together to develop a pair of Royal Oak Offshore chronographs for ladies and men.

The watches join the Bucherer Blue line-up, where around 30 major watchmakers create special blue pieces that sell exclusively through the retailer.

Audemars Piguet already makes a Bucherer Blue edition of its Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra Slim.

Tourneau, which has been owned by Bucherer since 2018, does not yet offer Bucherer Blue watches in the United States, but is expected to make it a centerpiece of its strategy when stores start to reopen under the Bucherer name.

Two new automatics this year both use stainless steel cases with pink gold bezels.

The 42mm men’s piece has a deep blue “Méga Tapisserie” dial with date and three subdials.

For the 37mm ladies piece, AP has used a white dial with blue subdials framed by a golden bezel set with 32 diamonds.

Both can be worn on a blue rubber strap or an interchangeable leather strap.

Bucherer is pricing both models at £33,700 (around $42,125).
