French brand Pequignet has unveiled a movement developed by three engineers from Greubel Forsey.
The movement is called Initial and it comes in Pequignet’s Attitude watch, which is limited to 100 pieces.
The Attitude is the latest push from Pequignet for independent French watchmaking, which combines “handcraft, technical nature and French savoir-faire.”
It comes with an 88 hour power reserve, instantaneous date change and the ability to change the date at any time without risking damage to the movement.
About Time, distributor for Pequignet in the States, has seen a pick-up in sales this year, citing people having more time to research thoroughly online as a potential reason why.
The manual wind version without the date starts at $3,420, while models with the day, date, moonphase and power reserve are $8,400 in steel.
