Alpina gets active with ladies’ Alpiner Comtesse Sport Quartz

0

Citizen Watch Group-owned Alpina says it is going back to its roots with the release of a family of sporty steel watches for women.

The 2020 Alpiner Comtesse Sport Quartz is a modern interpretation of a breed of watches first seen in 1963 for ladies enjoying alpine sports.

Its design is based on Alpina’s Avalanche Extreme collection, which was launched in 2011. The collection comes in 36.5mm steel cases with steel bezels and bracelets.

Color combinations include a silver dial with steel bezel, a graduated turquoise to navy blue dial with a blue bezel and an all-black piece with black dial, bezel and black DLC-coated steel case and bracelet and includes eight diamonds on the face.

They all house the AL-240 quartz movement.

Prices range from €695 for the silver and blue models to €795 for the all-black with diamonds.
