TAG Heuer has announced the addition of American racing driver Alexander Rossi to its line up of brand ambassadors.
TAG Heuer and Rossi were introduced earlier this year after his victory at the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, where he was presented with the TAG Heuer F1 Indy 500 Special Edition watch.
With several historical wins already behind him, Alexander was one the youngest drivers to hold a Formula 1 Super License at just 18 years old.
The brand has now welcomed him to its ambassador fold, citing his professionalism, perseverance and diligence in the sport, and alignment with TAG’s global marketing motto “Don’t Crack Under Pressure”.
Speaking of the news, Alexander Rossi said: “I’m honored to partner with TAG Heuer and become part of the family; TAG Heuer is a legacy brand and with great history in motorsport; there is great synergy in our focus and pursuit of perfection. The timing is ideal and a perfect alignment of brands, and I look forward to a great future as a TAG Heuer brand ambassador.”
TAG Heuer has been linked with auto racing since 1860, describing itself as ‘always stood at the forefront of the industry’.
“Together we will continue to set milestones”, said Killian Muller, president of Tag Heuer USA, “Alexander made history by winning the 100th run of Indy 500 and we are so happy to welcome him into our family.”
