If ever a watch looked prepared to survive any eventuality it’s this robust looking offering from Clerc.
Housed in a 48mm case fashioned from 83 separate components in either black-DLC treated stainless steel or 18ct pink gold, the Hydroscaph GMT Power-Reserve Chronometer will remain water resistant to 800m and becomes one of Clerc’s most complicated watches to date.
The faceted rotating bezel can be locked in place by means of the second crown sitting at the 10 o’clock position. But this Clerc is as at home above the waves as it is beneath them, with a large 24-hour second timezone, mother of pearl sub dial at the six o’clock.
Date is displayed at the three o’clock while the current state of the watch’s 43-hour power reserve can be observed at the 12 o’clock. The Clerc Hydroscaph GMT Power-Reserve Chronometer is powered by an automatic COSC-certified C610 calibre.
