Audemars Piguet has given its first sneak peek at what retailers can expect to see from the manufacturer next year.
The company used Dubai Watch Week to unveil a new line of Millenary timepieces that update a range first introduced in 1995 and updated in 2015.
The ladies’ models are inspired by architecture and art with an inside out design exposing different layers from the hands to the dial to the intricacies of the movement.
The 2015 design will be retained next year for the Millenary collection, but a new line of fine Milanese mesh bracelets will be added.
“The Milanese bracelet, which was fashionable in the 50s and 60s, offers a comfortable feel on the wrist, just like a second skin, and also provides a new, more supple meshing enriched by several adjustable links to perfectly fit every woman,” says Audemars Piguet.
There is also going to be a new dial option in frosted gold, a technique that until now has only been used on Royal Oak watches.
