Nixon has produced a video to demonstrate The Diplomat, which was introduced at BaselWorld 2013.
The Diplomat features a Swiss GMT movement and can tell the time in two locations at once allowing, for instance, those on their travels to sync up to the time zone they’re in while keeping track of time at home.
Meanwhile, Nixon also introduced visitors to the stand to the limited edition 48-20 Chrono, which features baby blue hour and minute hands and a 12 o’clock marker on the dial. The 48mm timepiece, with a 20 ATM rating, incorporates a Japanese Miyota wide-eye quartz movement with date function and chronograph accuracy to 1/20th of a second.
It has a custom stainless steel case with a hardened mineral crystal and a uni-directional rotating stainless steel bezel. The case is equipped with a vertical brushed, IP-plated stainless steel caseback and solid bar stainless steel screw pins to secure the band.
A concave dial ring surrounds the dial with a printed seconds track in various colours.
