Swatch partners with menswear retailer to launch limited edition watch

Swatch has collaborated with a British menswear retail brand to create a new limited edition timepiece.

Swatch has teamed up with Hackett London to design the new Sistem 51 limited edition watch, with only 1,983 pieces available to commemorate the year 1983, when both brands first launched to the market.

The Sistem 51 Swatch x Hackett boasts a leather strap with brown and green leather loops which form the letter ‘H’, as well as holding a stainless steel buckle.

Jeremy Hackett’s Sussex Spaniel, Muffin, is the star of the sunbrushed green dial with the date window and superluminova hands.

The brushed stainless steel case has an engraved bezel, filled in light green.

Each watch comes in special limited edition packaging in a royal red adorning the 1983 Swatch x Hackett logo.

Jeremy Hackett comments: “Watch this space! I am absolutely thrilled to be collaborating with Swatch to create an exclusive Hackett design for the limited edition range. What I admire about Swatch is that it is a very democratic brand that appeals to everybody and one who’s popularity endures. Dare I say it’s timeless.”

The new watch is available to purchase in selected Hackett and Swatch flagship stores globally and online at Hackett.com and Swatch.com, from today.
