Hublot launched its Snow Leopard Big Bang timepiece at BaselWorld 2013.
The model ties in with Hublot’s close links with the mountains and skiing, relating to its Swiss origins and its general sporting ties. The timepiece came about in associated with the rapport that has existed between the brand ambassador skier Maria Höfl-Riesch and Hublot’s management, Jean-Claude Biver and Ricardo Guadalupe, since 2010.
In the skier’s honour, Hublot has created the Snow Leopard Big Bang in white ceramic, featuring a dial set with eight diamonds and limited to 50 pieces. The reveal coincided with the BaselWorld trade fair during a press conference on 26 April, attended by Höfl-Riesch, Hublot chairman Jean-Claude Biver and Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe.
