Signet starts accepting trade-in Swiss watches at its Jared stores.

Signet-owned Jared has teamed up with online pre-owned watch marketplace Crown & Caliber to offer customers a trade-in service for their luxury timepieces.

Jared is the most upmarket of Signet Jewelers’ retail brands when it comes to luxury watch sales, offering brands ranging from Omega and TAG Heuer to Citizen and Bulova.

The trade-in program will enable Jared customers to receive in-store credit, cash or the opportunity to upgrade to a new timepiece based on a quote for the value of their trade-in watch from Crown & Caliber. If the price is acceptable, the watch will be sent to Crown & Caliber for inspection and authentication.
