Seiko is supporting the opening of its latest boutique in Germany with a photographic exhibition marking 55 years of its luxury brand, Grand Seiko.
The new boutique, the brand’s largest in Europe, is situated on Frankfurt’s Bockenheimer Strasse, and carries Seiko, Grand Seiko and Prospex. One hundred guests gathered for the opening of the store earlier this month and were treated to a traditional trumpet fanfare and ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Thirty photographs from the exhibition to mark the 55th anniversary of Grand Seiko, first seen at Baselworld this year, were also put on display as part of the RAY 2015 photography triennial exhibit, of which Seiko is principal sponsor, at Frankfurt’s Thurn-und-Taxis Palais to mark the opening. Many shots are also being exhibited in store until the end of the month.
