Meistersinger makes a limited edition Perigraph in bronze

Meistersinger has produced a limited edition bronze version of its Perigraph single-handed timepiece.

Only 100 will be made of the watch, which comes in a 43mm bronze case housing either an ETA 2824-2 or Sellita 200-1 automatic movement.

Bronze has become an increasingly popular material to use in modern watchmaking, despite the fact that it ages and changes color over time.

“Although bronze is extraordinarily resilient, time does leave its traces on the surface of the metal. It is not possible to forecast how it will age, as the patina develops differently on each piece of equipment made of bronze. The fact that a bronze case is not only capable of reliably protecting a technical instrument over a long period, but also makes its age visible, was another reason for MeisterSinger to bring out a Perigraph in bronze,“ the company says.
